About Stuck Ltd

Stuck Ltd was launched in 2011 by Teresa Watts and Helen Royle.  Both Helen and Teresa had spent over 20 years working in television in both the BBC and ITV .  They were both tv executives who decided they wanted to launch their own digital resources. In 2010 they successfully sought funding and support from Sir Terry Leahy to launch www.stuckonhomework and so Stuck Ltd was born.


Stuck Ltd has three arms:

Video Production - We produce bespoke video content for education suppliers and company digital resources.  This includes training and learning as well as sales and promotional material.

Video Lesson Licensing - we own over 1350 Maths video lessons that are available to be licensed by education suppliers for digital resources.

Our Digital Resources - we develop and manage our own digital resources www.stuckonhomework.comwww.stuckforschools.com and soon to join, www.stuckonmaths.com.  These resources presently provide online maths tutor support from Entry Level 1-3, Levels 1 & 2, Key Stage 3, 4 and A Level and Literacy for adult learners.

Helen started her career in the BBC as a documentary researcher. She then became a freelance director on series such as Food & Drink, The Clothes Show, 999 and Holiday Swap. She returned to the BBC as an executive producer and Head of Development working mainly with major US broadcasters including Discovery Networks.

She then joined Granada Bristol as Head of Popular Factual and Development, exec’ing series such as For One Night Only (ITV), Men In Tights (ITV), Poor Little Rich Girls (ITV) and Too Scared for School (ITV).

Helen has since been Head of Development, Features and Formats, at the BBC and Head of Development for Parthenon International.

Teresa started her TV career as a junior secretary in the BBC and then spent the next 17 years working in many production management roles across series such as Eastenders, Casualty, On The Record, Grange Hill and The Really Wild Show. She spent 12 years working as a production executive in the BBC Natural History Unit.

In 2001, she become Head of Production for Granada Bristol who specialised in factual programming, producing between 80-100 hours of history, science, wildlife and popular factual documentaries per year. Teresa ran this production unit until its closure in 2007 after which she helped launch new UK digital TV channel, Horse & Country, as head of content, followed by a second channel in 2009.
